Great indian dishes at weekend buffet. A must try if you are into Indian / Pakistani food. The ambiance is pleasant and good enough to elevate your mood. Limited options on desserts.

Typical Indian restaurant, good for student. We went their for weekend lunch buffet, goat meat curry was over and not refilled. Deserts were real nice.

Great food and lots of options. Lunch buffet has more variety than a lot of other buffets. Service is good and staff is nice enough. Food is delicious. Definitely recommend.

The food was delicious, however their portions are really small. Also they don't offer complimentary nan as most places I have been to do (given the prices, they should have thrown in the nan). Our waiter was extremely helpful and provided exceptional service. The ambience is really good as well. Another annoyance was that they charged us for the ice cream scoop cake they brought us to celebrate an anniversary. So overall, good food but small portions and extremely pricey.

We ordered Paneer Mugal & Garlic Naan for lunch ... It was very bad ... paneer was loaded with color and was hard.. not the level of Mughal definitely

Food is outstanding, and the service is top notch.

Delicious food, pleasant service and a nice fine dine experience in Edison, NJ. Tried the Rogangosh, Roomali rotis, Garlic naan, Gajar halwa, Gulab jamuns and Vanilla Ice cream. It was perfect for a family of four (2 kids below the age of 6)

I paid $17 for the weekend buffet which hardly had any good dish. Nothing was good for vegetarian. Only fish was good in non vegetarian. Don't waste money coming here. If you like food without taste then you may visit this restaurant. They are good at serving like refilling water, removing plates. The plates and cutlery were not washed properly as I could some dirt on them.

Very good lunch buffet. Tasty tandoori chicken. Many vegetarians and meat dishes.

I'm writing this review to warn anyone considering this restaurant for catering for their special day. Not only were they understaffed to the point where our guests were complaining, it was also clear that the staff was unprepared. Nothing was done on time! Any guest who attended this wedding will never cater from Moghul. I hope after reading this you don't make the mistake of choosing this company. We were given tantrums over aspects that were not in our hands. Minimal things were provided and even those were 't executed well. As a catering company you would think that all catering equipment would be provided but nope you can be disappointed in that aspect too.

was amazing. Owner was receptive to my catering order even though it was for a small group and last minute. He even threw in a few additions. My family loved the food and they will be recommending the restaurant in the future.

Came back to after so long. Been trying all the new restaurants that have come up on Oak Tree. This one is still probably one of the best. I liked it better when they had Chinese options too but with it gone (at least weekday buffet), it's still good enough to justify the price.

You know it’s unfortunate but the fact is fact. This restaurant used to be a great place. But being a vegetarian person my dinner choice is very pre determined. So we expect to have good food that’s quality and taste. My yesterday’s visit basically gave me a reason to believe it’s about time I downgrade my past experience. The main entree was good but NANN the most important part of dinner was not even like warm and therefor it was a bad start. Also see the pics of Veg Biryani ..... Simply NOT. Going back for long time

Great food, best indo-chinese dishes. Huge variety, North Indian, South Indian, Indo-Chinese Italian (pizza) food. Decent price, ample space to sit.

Loved the lunch buffet. Everything was fresh and excellent. Fast service too, you will never go thirsty. Great place. I will be back for sure!

I always like Moghul food. Specially starter with masala papad. Quantity is less but good taste.

Good ambiance, service is decent and mostly professional... Food is good , but not spicy at all. Even the ones we asked for spicy was mild. Green chutney they provide is also mild. They have many celebrities (Bollywood) pics on the wall so guess it's catered for their style.

Love the food, they have very good noveg appetizer for group. One of the best Indian food In Jersey.

The restaurant is extraordinary and roomy, the food was delightful and the rates were very fair. fast, efficient service and very attentive staff members. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Place has potential to be one of the elite Indian restaurants in Edison. But the burnt naans and limited food options definitely takes away the flavor of other options of food. They have great Tikka Masala but I can’t get pass the burnt naans

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very professional and the cuisine they offer is so tasty. I never decline to have a nice meal here. I highly recommend this place.

Shrimp pepper Fry- A unique Goan style preparation with roasted shredded coconut and black pepper made this dish delectable. The only downside is that they only serve 4 pieces per order ! Complimentary papad with green / dates chutney - Both chutneys were definitely made in-house and tasted fresh , different from all Indian restaurants around the area. Green chutney could have been a bit more thicker.

For special for Indian veggies and no veggies also 😉

Most recent visit was TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING!We ordered Paneer aur Sabzi Tawaw Masala. All the vegetables were raw and uncooked. When we complained the cook said they use boiled veggies and was ready to replace the dish as we don’t liked it. But wasn’t ready to agree that it’s uncooked dish. Also in summer their Air conditioner was not working, hand dryer in bathroom not working. Now a days looks like they are more into money making business than providing excellent service to customers. Also the dishes comparatively costly than other restaurants in same area.

This place is very good. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I've not been to the other restaurants in the area however.

This was our first Asian Indian Dinner experience and we were very impressed by the lovely atmosphere, food, and service. Our friend helped guide us through the menu and warned of different levels of spice which can be extremely hot. Our mixed grill had some burnt tips, but that is normal part of the dish. If you never have been, it is a great experience to try new flavors with pleasing spice combinations. Some dishes have meat that is red because they use food coloring; beware if you have allergies.

“Tried Lunch Buffet here and I must say it was okey , Not too many food items but what ever it’s available was of good taste . Especially the chat and the desserts, too good . Friendly staff and well maintained Dine inn ,Will definitely visit this place again .........

Good food with fast service.

This my first dinner time try at this restaurant after hearing from friends and online . It started with high notes with good appetizers but with bad service and main dish and roti - naan, disappointment. So I suggest that come here if near by and hungry but don’t come with big hope and expectation. It’s ok ok restaurant. They use lot of colors and frozen and already prepared items in food.

We came here for buffet lunch. Had a terrible experience. There was only one starter, chicken tikka. It was very hard and dry. Veg biryani had no taste. Chicken curry had too much color. Only the chat and chenna kheer was good. They didn't even have white rice or zeera rice. Will never come here again.

Went for my birthday dinner and was wonderfully delighted by the authentic Indian taste of food. Dessert was bit below expectation but excellent taste of main course makes it all even.

Wide variety of Indian food and snacks. Very nice and helpful staff. MrJana head chef very kind hearted .. went extra mile and got a platter for my one year old baby friendly food at no extra cost !

Much better place for Indian food in Edison than other local completion in the area. Food was very tasty and not overwhelming with spices. Service was attentive and atmosphere inside was calm. Overall very good restaurant for Indian food.

One of the best places for authentic indian and fusion cuisine. Their kebabs and tikkas are awesome!!

Very late service and no good water low quantity food

Really nice ambience. Really good service. And amazing amazing food. We ordered chicken 65 and dahi ballas as their appetizer and both were equally delicious.Then for main course we ordered murg malai makhani and murg karahi and goat biryani. Most I like was murg malai makhani. And their mango lassi and rasmalai are to die for. Their chilli cheese naan and roghani naan was truly delicious.

The people here are amazing there customer service is good as an out of state person that comes regularly they are nice they only downfall about this restaurant is it’s a bit over price because of famous people who have walked into the restaurant. And when ever I place a order from my phone for to go the employees there would try to ask for a card even when you pay for cash because they assume I won’t show up because of my out of state phone number but over all the food is good the quantity is okay you get a lot less then other restaurants
